Due to the problem of disguising the production area, sales of natural lajonkairia lajon from Kumamoto prefecture, which had been suspended for more than two months, began in Kumamoto prefecture on the 14th.

In response to the problem of disguising the production area, Kumamoto Prefecture and others have suspended the shipment of natural lajonkairia from Kumamoto prefecture for more than two months in order to wipe out the disguised lajonkairia from the market, but measures to prevent disguise are in sight. We have resumed shipping on the 12th.

Sales began on the 14th only at 93 stores in the prefecture certified by the prefecture, and of these, packed natural sardines from Kumamoto prefecture were lined up at the sales floor of the department store in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto city.

A certificate of origin with the date of shipment and the name of the fishery cooperative from which the asari was removed is posted, and the pack also has a Kumamon sticker indicating that it is from Kumamoto prefecture, so visitors can pick it up. I took it and bought it.

According to the prefecture, 100 grams of natural lajonkairia lajon is sold for around 150 to 200 yen, and the price is 1.5 to 2 times higher than before the problem was discovered.

A woman in her 60s in Kumamoto said, "I bought it with confidence because the place of origin certificate was posted. I didn't really care about the price because I don't eat asari every day."

Kumamoto Prefecture wants to increase the number of certified stores that can sell prefectural lajonkairia lajon even at stores outside the prefecture, and sell it nationwide.
