The Beit Al Khair Society contributed one million dirhams to support the “Yak Al Aoun” initiative for the second year in a row, bringing the total donations until yesterday to nine million and 572 thousand and 100 dirhams, enough to pay the debts of 66 citizens who are prosecuted and who are targeted in the initiative.

It is noteworthy that the "Yak Al Aoun" initiative has been adopted by Emirates Today, Dubai Courts, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, for the second year in a row, with the aim of releasing prisoners from financially troubled citizens who are being prosecuted.

The initiative targets 85 citizens who are prosecuted, who have financial issues, and seeks to pay their debts amounting to 14 million dirhams, to reunite them with their families before the blessed Eid Al-Fitr. Courts of Goodness” in Dubai Courts.

The Director General of Beit Al Khair Society, Taher Al-Awadi, stated that for the second year in a row, Beit Al Khair contributes one million dirhams to support the “Yak Aid” initiative called by Emirates Today, Dubai Courts, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, with the aim of Release prisoners from financially troubled citizens who are prosecuted.

Al-Awadi praised the “Yak Al Aoun” initiative, saying: “This humanitarian initiative launched by the courts, (Emirates Today) and the Islamic of Dubai to support the debtors of our citizens, to return to their families and relatives in this holy month, and be happy with them on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, for the debtors are among the eight deserving of money Zakat, and they constitute a human condition in society, which is always accustomed to their support and assistance, as they were subjected to compelling financial conditions that prevented them from fulfilling their debts.

He continued, "The association's board of directors decided to respond to this initiative and support it by providing one million dirhams, to add this amount to the annual support provided by the association to the debtors, through a permanent and renewable project dedicated to this purpose, as (the debtor project) spent 2.3 million dirhams last year. During which more than 13 citizen prisoners were held, and we paid checks due from them under judicial execution to help dozens of people.”

He said, "We are proud of this humanitarian initiative, which targets 85 grieved citizens, and we wish success for this campaign, which reflects the spirit of solidarity and societal solidarity experienced by the UAE, and we renew our pledge to constantly strengthen it."

The Chairman of the Courts of Goodness Committee in Dubai Courts, Judge Khaled Mubarak Kansham, stated that social responsibility is required in all circumstances, and constitutes an essential and important pillar in the lives of societies, as it constitutes one of the most important pillars of important community life and the harmony of society with its individuals and institutions during crises and confronting them as one body that tightens each other.

He emphasized that “a strong society is what is like a single structure in its interconnectedness and cooperation. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Beit Al Khair Association for its support of the initiative in the amount of one million dirhams, calling on everyone to continue the support that expresses the constructive partnership that embodies authentic societal values ​​and to release these citizens and relieve their distress before Eid Al-Fitr.

For his part, the editor-in-chief of "Emirates Today", colleague Sami Al-Riyami, thanked the Beit Al Khair Association for its generous contribution to the "Yak Al Aoun" initiative in the amount of one million dirhams, noting that its donation translates the association's policy in supporting humanitarian cases and community initiatives, especially those initiatives. that belong to the citizens, and this donation is not strange to the association, which always and forever translates the policy of leadership in humanitarian charitable work.

Al-Riyami called on government and private institutions and individuals to provide the necessary support for the remaining 19 citizens of the initiative, who are part of this national community initiative.

The list of donors includes: Emirates Islamic Bank with 1.5 million dirhams, the Endowment and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai with one million dirhams, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai with two million dirhams, Dubai Insurance Company with 800 thousand dirhams, Al-Waleed Real Estate Company with 200 thousand dirhams, and the Trahum Charitable Foundation with two million dirhams AED, the Dar Al Ber Society with one million dirhams, the Beit Al Khair Society with one million dirhams, and other donors at 72 thousand and 100 dirhams, bringing the total donations for this initiative, since its launch until yesterday, to eight million and 572 thousand and 100 dirhams, contributing to the release of 66 citizen prisoners covered by the initiative. .
