What is “The 95th Division” whose details were revealed by the series “The Choice 3”

The "95th Division", one of the most dangerous armed arms of the terrorist Brotherhood organization, returned to the fore again, after revealing new information about it during the eleventh episode of the series "The Choice 3", which deals with documented real facts about the period after 2011, including the year of the ruling Designated terrorist group, 2012-2013.

Through a number of recordings, the series documented special information about the Brotherhood group founded by Deputy Leader Khairat al-Shater, and supervised by Brotherhood leader Osama Yassin, who held the position of youth minister during the organization’s rule in the country.

According to Yassin’s confessions in one of the television interviews, the group took on the task of targeting demonstrators from the top of the buildings in Tahrir Square in 2011, saying: “They are a group of young men who were on the roofs of buildings in Tahrir Square, and they were exposing the October Bridge and its bottom and protecting the square from any movement.”

The episode documented the Brotherhood’s conspiracy to target youth centers in the governorates of Egypt, to recruit Brotherhood youth inside them, to teach them their own religious thought, as well as to train them to confront the Egyptian army, police and government, and target government institutions.

The Egyptian researcher specializing in political Islam and terrorism, Sameh Fayez, told "Sky News" that the 95th Brotherhood is an armed cell that was formed in 1995 by Khairat al-Shater, as part of the organization's strategy to change the names of the special regime or the armed wing with the taking over of the Fifth Guide, who was One of the sons of the first generation of the organization, and because of a mistake on his part in the forties, the political police discovered at the time that the Brotherhood had a special system in a famous case that was called at the time the “jeep” case.

Fayez believes that the group relied mainly on young people, and the Brotherhood tried to recruit the largest number of them over the years that followed its founding. Khairat al-Shater and Mahmoud Ezzat relied on recruiting children and youth to create new generations within the group's private system.

Fayez explains that the first appearance of the Brotherhood's division was in 2006 during the military parade that the organization carried out inside Al-Azhar University, in which the organization's elements presented a display of weapons and combat training, noting that the division began to appear significantly after 2011, and after 2013 the private regime reappeared with several names. For example, "Hasm" and "Liwaa al-Thawra" (Liwa al-Thawra).

It should be noted that the report of the Fact-Finding Committee in 2013, regarding investigations into the killing of Egyptian demonstrators in Tahrir Square, in what was known in the media as “The Battle of the Camel”, proved the involvement of the armed Brotherhood cell (the 95th Division), targeting protesters and causing dozens of casualties, between dead and wounded. , at that site.
