Two Egyptians injured in New York subway shooting

An informed source in the US state of New York confirmed that two citizens from Egypt, a man and a woman, were among the injured in the shooting incident at the subway station in Brooklyn.

The source pointed out that "Al-Masry's condition is very critical, as he underwent a surgery that lasted about 4 hours," noting that "the area in which the accident occurred is home to a large number of Arabs, especially Egyptians."

The accident occurred while citizens were going to work, and the cause of the accident was a citizen of Africa who was wearing a gas mask, and that the weapon he was carrying broke down during the shooting.

And the “Cairo 24” website, quoting the American “nbc” New York, stated that “10 people were injured by direct fire, while 13 others were wounded after the attacker threw smoke bombs,” according to senior police officials in the city, while the perpetrator of the operation was not arrested.
