Khaled Al-Jundi: The word an infidel is not an insult.

Member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jundi, said that the word infidel is a matter of intellectual classification of the violator and not for insults, adding: "The meaning is innocent and gentle, and not an insult. The word infidel means cover, means cover, means hide."

Al-Jundi added, during his program “May they Understand” broadcast on DMC today, Wednesday, that the word “disbelief” was used by Arabs in intellectual matters, continuing: “Anyone was different with the other in the matter of what he did not say, I am not convinced of what you are saying, But he would say: I disbelieved in what you say.

He continued, "Without the language, and open any book, you will find the meanings of the word."
