Egypt.. 10 people, including 4 French and a Belgian, died in a traffic accident

Ten people were killed, including four French and a Belgian, and 14 others were injured as a result of a collision between a tourist bus and a car in the Aswan Governorate in southern Egypt on Wednesday, according to a statement issued by the Aswan Governorate.

The statement stated that "a traffic accident on Abu Simbel Road killed 10 people, including 4 French and Belgian tourists, in addition to 5 Egyptians, as a result of the collision of the tourist bus and a truck."

The accident occurred early Wednesday morning on a road linking the Abu Simbel tourist temple and the city of Aswan.

According to the statement, the governor of Aswan "is supervising the provision of medical and treatment care to the injured in the accident, with a total of 14 tourists", eight French and six Belgians.

The governorate's statement confirmed that the injured are "stable," and their injuries ranged from "fractures, bruises and superficial wounds."
