• The wizards Dumbledore and Grindelwald continue their clashes in a festival of special effects.

  • "Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore's Secrets" keeps all its promises, making people forget the controversies surrounding its release.

  • “20 Minutes” explains without spoiler why this third part gives hope for a form of appeasement.

So, this third installment of Fantastic Beasts subtitled

The Secrets of Dumbledore

?

How to get to the premiere without an air of controversy in mind?

It's hard to forget the transphobic declarations of the novelist JK Rowling or the ousting of Johnny Depp replaced by Mads Mikkelsen in the role of the wizard Grindelwald.

But it was a success!

On Sunday evening, the 2,500 fans present at the Grand Rex largely voted for this new opus by David Yates.

And

20 Minutes

explains to you why we take pleasure in seeing Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law), Norbert Dragonneau (Eddie Redmayne) and their friends go back to war against the poisonous Grindelwald.

The film is very inclusive

We knew it from the last novel in the Harry Potter saga, but it's been confirmed brilliantly: Dumbledore and Grindelwald had a beautiful love story.

The tender reactions of the spectators were heartwarming.

Enthusiasm also in the face of the two black wizards William Nadylam seen in the previous part but also Jessica Williams, courageous and charismatic witch, whose role has been very developed.

Mads Mikkelsen is better than good

It must be recognized: Mads Mikkelsen is excellent.

Perhaps even better than Johnny Depp because much more sober in the skin of the villain.

His appearance was greeted with a thunder of cheers suggesting that he was adopted given the Parisian applause meter.

The Danish actor imposes by his phlegmatic presence.

He forms a fantastic couple with Jude Law.

Magic is real

Still spectacular special effects and incredible twists do not prevent

The Secrets of Dumbledore

from (discreetly) referring to the current world and populism, even totalitarianism, reminding us that we must remain vigilant among magicians as among "Muggles".

The film is joyful entertainment but carries a very timely message.

We dream of peace

One of the characters talks about trying to fix the mistakes of the past for which we pay dearly the price.

We would like to see it as a form of excuse that would allow us to follow the next two

Hearing a young Frenchwoman in costume for the

The world of Harry Potter and

Fantastic Beasts

is also, and perhaps above all, that.
