A few days ago, researchers entered the Nianbao Jade in Jiuzhi County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province to conduct a scientific investigation. The Nianbao Jade in early spring was still covered with white snow.

The main peak of Nianbaoyu is 5,369 meters above sea level. It preserves geological relics such as glacial landforms, moraine landforms, and modern glaciers. There are many lakes under the mountain, and there are myths and legends with a long history. It is known as "the back garden of the gods".

At present, in order to protect the natural ecology, the tourism of Nianbaoyu has been suspended, and the opening to the outside world has been suspended indefinitely.
