At 5:44 a.m. sharp, the National Seismic Monitoring Network (RéNass) recorded an earthquake of magnitude 2.8.

The epicenter was located in Colpo, a town located 20 kilometers north of Vannes.

"I thought it was the storm," said a surfer living in the area.

On March 17, three earthquakes of magnitude 2.2 to 3 had already been felt in the department.

Third seismic region of metropolitan France, Brittany regularly records low intensity earthquakes.
