A test drive event was held for the press before Kintetsu's new limited express train "Ayoyoshi", which connects Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto, began operating on the 29th of this month.

Kintetsu's new sightseeing limited express train is named "Ayoyoshi" after the word "Ayoyoshi" in Nara, and is trying to attract tourists visiting Kyoto and Osaka to Nara in anticipation of the convergence of the new Corona. The service will start on the 29th of this month.

On the 12th, a test drive event was held for the press in the section connecting Osaka Namba Station and Kyoto Station.

The vehicle is nicknamed "Snack Car" where you can enjoy light meals in the car. It is a modified version of the limited express vehicle that retired in February last year, and has 84 seats.

In addition, the color of the car body is based on purple, which has been regarded as a noble color for a long time, and the walls and ceiling inside the car are decorated with the Tenpei pattern with the motif of the treasure of Shosoin in Nara.

From the train window, you can enjoy the historical streets such as the Heijo Palace ruins in Nara and Toji Temple in Kyoto.

Akio Kobayashi, Chief of the Kintetsu Railway Sales Planning Department, said, "I want people from all over Japan to use it, and I want many people to feel Nara."

The limited express train "Ayoyoshi" has reserved seats for all seats, and the fare is 1960 yen for adults and 990 yen for children on the section between Osaka Namba Station and Kyoto Station.
