Indeed, teenagers would be fond of these little gadgets with original tastes.

Costing less than 10 euros, these disposable vapes that can be bought easily, even as a minor, would be resold under the coat in the playgrounds.

However, they are not without risk.

If the effects of inhaling aromas are still unknown, most contain nicotine.

A lack of warning

A mother wrote to our colleagues to be indignant at the lack of warning.

Her 12 year old son would have bought a “puff” containing 20 mg/ml of nicotine.

This is the maximum nicotine content authorized in Europe.

But while it was indicated in very small, she lamented the fact "that there is not at least one symbol on the object which indicates the dangerousness of the product".

Moreover, the resemblance of these electronic cigarettes to real cigarettes, which the manufacturers boast about, raises fears that young non-smokers will become addicted to nicotine and end up turning to tobacco.

A threat to the planet

These disposable vapes could also have environmental consequences.

Although it is specified that they must be thrown in the recycling center or in specialized collectors, it is a safe bet that most consumers throw them in conventional trash cans.

However, puffs, like all electronic waste, pose a serious threat to the planet.

Faced with the growing promotion of these electronic cigarettes on social networks, the Ministry of Health, which recalled on March 17 that “advertising and promotion of vaping products are prohibited”, made a report to justice.

Health

Smoking: Vaping in addition to cigarettes does not reduce cardiovascular risks, according to a study

Health

Tobacco: Two-thirds of vapers are also smokers
