Toyama Prefectural Police's police dog "Vivian-kun" was appointed as the police chief for one day in line with the spring national traffic safety campaign, and called on children to prevent accidents.

Toyama Minami Police Station in Toyama City is a police dog searching for missing people in line with the spring national traffic safety campaign that started last week. I appointed a police chief for a day.

When Takashi Watabe handed over the appointment letter, Vivian was pushing a paw instead of a stamp on the declaration saying "I will watch over while taking a walk."

After that, I visited the nearby Ota Elementary School and participated in a traffic safety class for about 50 first and second graders.

In the classroom, police officers explained that they should be careful about cars when crossing the pedestrian crossing, and Vivian watched the children raise their hands and cross the pedestrian crossing.

Takashi Imasaki, Chief of the Traffic Division of the Toyama Minami Police Station, said, "I want you to be careful about traffic rules and have a good school life without suddenly jumping out."
