The Autan wind will blow strong this Monday in the departments of Tarn and Haute-Garonne.

After gusts recorded last night at speeds ranging from 60 to 70 km / h in the Lauragais and from 80 to 90 km / h at the foot of the Montagne Noire, Météo-France announces an intensification this Monday of the wind in the two departments which placed them on orange alert.

It will frequently reach 80 to 90 km / h, even 100 km / h from the south of the Tarn to Lauragais during the day and should be 80 km / h in the Toulouse region during this afternoon.

During the evening, and in the night which will follow, it will still intensify.

According to forecasters, it will blow from 110 to 120 km / h on the foothills of the Montagne Noire, around Castres and in the Lauragais and up to 100 km / h in the Toulouse South.

The gusts will gradually decrease during the day on Tuesday.
