On the evening of April 11, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.
At the press conference, Chen Bin, deputy director and spokesperson of the Guangzhou Municipal Health and Health Commission, informed that since April 8, a total of 61 cases of new coronavirus infection have been reported in this outbreak.
From the perspective of regional distribution, there were 45 cases in Baiyun District, 7 cases in Haizhu District, 4 cases in Yuexiu District, 2 cases in Panyu District, and 1 case each in Zengcheng District, Tianhe District, and Huadu District.
Three or more cases were reported in Tangjing Street, Xinshi Street, Renhe Town, Baiyunhu Street, Songzhou Street, Jiahe Street, Huangshi Street, and Nanzhou Street, Haizhu District, Baiyun District.
In terms of infection, 17 were asymptomatic, 37 were mild, and 7 were common.
