In order to help Ukrainians who have evacuated to Japan, domestic NGOs have started support activities to provide living expenses for the time being.

The social welfare corporation related to the international NGO "Association for Aid and Relief of Refugees" has received a series of consultations from Ukrainian people who have evacuated to Japan and are having trouble living. Until it arrives, I decided to pay my living expenses.

On the 11th, support money was given to Lorina Sta (27), who was working as an interpreter at the Japanese Embassy in Kieu, and her family.

After leaving for Romania with her two-year-old eldest son and 58-year-old mother, she evacuated to Japan on the 3rd of this month on a plane she had booked.

She was decided to move into the metropolitan housing by mediation from Tokyo, but she could only bring out strollers and clothes from Kieu and used up most of her savings.

Mr. Sta said, "I may be able to do something if I get a job, but in the meantime, I'm full of anxiety about how to live. Thank you for your support."

Chiaki Furukawa, the secretary general of the Association for Aid and Relief of Refugees, said, "There was a consultation that even today's life was in trouble, so we decided to give an urgent support fund. I want to call on you. "

Detailed information on how to accept donations will be posted on the website of the Association for Aid and Relief of Refugees.
