If it was a movie, it would be called “The Great Unpacking 2”.
After Johnny Depp's lawsuit against
The Sun
newspaper (which he lost), and in which he was forced to reveal his private life to the world, the actor finds himself in court again this week, facing to his ex-wife Amber Heard, for further legal action.
This time, it is the actress of
Aquaman
that he attacks directly, for defamation, after the publication of a column in the
Washington Post
, where she affirmed, without ever quoting her ex-husband, that she had been the victim of domestic violence.
The two former lovers will therefore be able to tear themselves apart in front of the justice of Virginia, in the county of Fairfax.
The online edition of the
Washington Post
is published in this state, so it is the justice of Virginia which will decide the outcome of the trial, and not California where they both reside.

Just before the start of the trial, Amber Heard posted a message on Instagram indicating that she was going offline for a few weeks to handle this case.
She also turned to Johnny Depp, against all odds.
"I have always maintained love for Johnny and it pains me greatly to relive the details of our past life together in front of the world," she wrote, adding that she hopes that once this new affair judged, she will be able to "go ahead and Johnny too".
Several personalities are expected to testify, including Elon Musk and James Franco, suspected by Johnny Depp of having had an affair with Amber Heard during their marriage.
Paul Bettany, who exchanged text messages with the star of
Edward Scissorhands
, which evoke in unflattering terms the actress, is also called to the bar.
