Its color is red, and it is impossible to mistake it for a dining table or restaurant.

If you go to the supermarket, you know you're going to that red bottle, it's ketchup.

We use ketchup with potatoes, which gives it a magical flavour.

The inventor of "ketchup" is the American Henry Heinz, and he did not invent it from scratch, but rather from a Chinese fish sauce (Katsub), which he used at his brother's house to cover the flavor of the completely immature meat he was eating.

He did not invent it to dip potatoes in it, or add it to “burgers” or “hot dogs,” as we do today.

Because of the chaotic conditions in the United States at the end of the 19th century, and the lack of food control, Heinz deliberately marketed his product to bottle it, so the consumer sees the cleanliness of what he buys, compared to other products in opaque boxes, and may contain adulterated or dirty products.

• When obesity spread in the United States in the late seventies, the government issued an awareness guide against dangerous foods, and meat was on top, and this caused losses to McDonald's.

The diet culture spread in America, so the competitor “Burger King” took advantage of that, and offered chicken as an alternative to meat, even though it was fried, and its abundance caused obesity, but the marketing trick succeeded.

For the first time, McDonald's sales fell in front of its competitor, and people avoided it because of its meat, so its marketing team used a trick like Burger King, which is the children's meal "Happy Meal". Meal Box, McDonald's has become the world's largest toy distributor.

• Neil McIlroy, president of Procter and Gamble for cleaning and body care products (and US Secretary of Defense 1957-1959) summoned a chemist/engineer, and asked him: Are there potatoes/chips that don't break when you press the bag?

He said the second is impossible.

McIlroy said I want you to invent this impossible.

The man came up with a clever formula of potatoes and rice, made that thicker curving slice of traditional chips, and packed it into a cylindrical box to withstand bumps, which McIlroy called "Pringles."

Situations

McDonald's did not blame the US government, nor did he accuse it of conspiracy, but its officials used their minds to get out of the impasse, and Haynes did not say that life is full of fraud, but he used his intelligence to win the trust of the consumer.

McIlroy didn't say I don't understand food, and burst into the field with his insight.

When obesity spread in the United States in the late seventies, the government issued an awareness guide against dangerous foods, and meat was on top.
