War in Ukraine: return of reporting with Anastasia Becchio

The Ukrainian army says it expects a Russian offensive in the east of the country very soon, and evokes between the lines the probable loss of Mariupol.

The southeastern port city has been under siege for more than a month, and on its Facebook account, a national navy brigade defending it says it is out of ammunition.

We are slowly disappearing

," the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Europeans are discussing a sixth salvo of sanctions against Russia, to punish Moscow for the abuses attributed to it, notably in Boutcha, where more than 300 civilians killed have been buried in mass graves.

All of Ukraine is not under the fire of Russian bombs.  

The West remains relatively unspoiled, and has become a transit zone for the inhabitants who manage to flee the fighting.

These displaced people arrive traumatized and exhausted.

The Russians have also conquered localities which are now spared from air strikes, but where life is not easy for the population.

In short, the war in Ukraine is experienced in different ways on the territory.
