An official source in the sheikhdom of Al-Azhar denied what was circulated on social media about a comment by Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb on the series "Faten Amal Harbi", which sparked widespread controversy during the past few days.

And the “Cairo 24” website quoted the source that “the sheikhdom did not issue any statements in this regard at all, and the Sheikh of Al-Azhar did not issue any comments on the Faten Amal Harbi series,” and stressed that “what is being circulated is completely untrue and does not correlate with the truth.” an onion".

The source pointed out that "all the statements issued by the sheikhdom are published through Al-Azhar's documented pages," and added: "Therefore, we should not be drawn into any news circulated on social media, while it is not published through Al-Azhar's pages."

And social networking sites circulated a comment attributed to the Sheikh of Al-Azhar on the series Faten Harbi, and the comment says that the Sheikh of Al-Azhar described the series as “a work that distorts the meanings of the Noble Qur’an and destroys the constants of faith.”
