Social networking sites in Egypt were buzzing with pictures said to be of a charitable organization in the Abis area, east of Alexandria, "distributing cattle bones to the needy instead of meat."

The pioneers of social networking sites and news pages circulated these photos, expressing their anger at this behavior, and some considered them "humiliating" and "humiliating."

For its part, the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, through its representative in Alexandria, Dr. Magda Galala, responded to the incident, explaining that “one of the donors donated a calf to the society, and after slaughtering it, the association began distributing meat to citizens, but some of them asked for boneless meat to make it as a “soup.” One of the citizens took pictures of the incident.

She pointed out that "about 28 tons of meat were distributed in Alexandria, as well as thousands of food bags to citizens in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation and NGOs."

In a statement about the publication that caused a great media sensation, the association said: "Our Lord, we have blessed with one donor who roamed a cow calf, and it was slaughtered and distributed to people through a caravan of goodness in Abbis. They make soup with it and it has already been distributed, and one of the attendees preferred to photograph the people, and the post was discussed,” stressing that the association “will sue everyone who defames the association without even knowing where the association is.”
