[Explanation] A few days ago, Shanghai opened a "parent-child shelter" for the first time, adopting the "parent-child" treatment model, accepting minors from 2 to 18 years old, and allowing parents to enter the escort.

On April 10, a reporter from China News Agency visited the "parent-child shelter" of the Shanghai New International Expo Center Fangcang shelter hospital to learn about the relevant situation.

There are 1,320 beds in the W2 cabin of Shanghai New International Expo Makeshift Hospital, which is taken over by the medical staff from 19 hospitals in Hubei Province led by Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Children and parents of positive infected persons are also known as "parent-child cabins".

The reporter saw at the scene that the huge square cabin was divided into small spaces, and there were two single beds placed opposite each other in each small partition.

Because adults and children are together, some families simply combine two beds into a "double bed", which is more comfortable and can "prevent children from falling while sleeping".

There are currently 347 children in the parent-child cabin, and various schoolbags can be seen everywhere.

The collective life in the cabin is not monotonous. There are children doing homework in a quiet corner, and some children play in groups of three or five.

After a few days of getting along, Xiao Ming (pseudonym) has become good partners with two boys of the same age who did not know each other.

It was here that the three of us were running and met.

For this parent-child shelter, we will also make some special (arrangements) for children.

Examples include fruit, nutritious meals, and special toys.

For children before school (age), such a picture book before school can relieve the anxiety of the child, and at the same time let him study here and maintain a very pleasant state.

[Explanation] The positive infected people admitted to the Fangcang shelter hospital are basically asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms, so children and adults are more stable, but the airtight protective clothing of medical staff always reminds people that the new crown virus is everywhere in the Fangcang cabin , and the environment where thousands of people live together in groups will inevitably make patients feel anxious.

Since there are more people here, there are children, older people, and young people.

Relatively speaking, their main emotional problems are still anxiety and insomnia, and some may have some fearful emotions, but after we explained and explained the psychological treatment through supportive psychotherapy, they were still in a relatively stable mood. It can be said that the mood of the patients in this cabin is relatively stable.

[Explanation] Because of wearing protective clothing, the reporter was sweating profusely after visiting the W2 cabin for a long time.

Liu Shunfang said that medical staff must work continuously for at least 4 hours in the cabin.

The reporter saw that a piece of paper was pasted on the message wall at the exit of the square cabin, on which a nurse with angel wings was drawn, and a child signed Li Manli left a message "Dedicated to the most beautiful retrograde".
