Meet the major witnesses and actors in the conflict between the Colombian State and the Farc guerrillas, who signed peace agreements nearly 6 years ago: Rodrigo Londoño, former Farc leader, Sergio Jaramillo, one of the negotiators for the Colombian State, and Bertha Lucía Fríes, victim of an attack perpetrated by the Farc in 2003.

These peace agreements were to put an end to more than 50 years of war, a bloody conflict that left nearly 300,000 dead, 80,000 missing and more than 7 million displaced.

These six-point agreements were signed in Havana on August 24, 2016, under the aegis of Cuba and Norway, then again for the image on September 26, 2016 in the city of Cartagena, a symbol of resistance to the Spanish crown.

During this ceremony, President Juan Manuel Santos called for no more war and Farc leader Rodrigo Londoño, alias Tymoshenko, asked for forgiveness from the victims.

A look back at these difficult negotiations, in this crucial election year for Colombia and when peace has not yet returned to the regions.
