Sabreen: There is a "wrong need" in Hala Shiha's life!

The Egyptian artist, Sabreen, revealed the details of her dispute with her retired colleague, Hala Shiha, commenting on the latter's statement that the veil is an honor, saying that covering up is generally an "honour".

During an interview with the media, Basma Wahba, she said, "Anything that conceals a woman's honor is not the only condition of the veil. For me, honor lies in all morals, not just the veil."

She also added, "I am not saying that Hala Shiha was increasing on us when she said that wearing the hijab is an honor. I do not criticize a colleague or blame him, but I got angry because of her differences with her father, she and her father made us a party when they shared the details of their personal lives with us. I do not interfere in the choices of others, My topic is purely human, and I do not wish that our relationship with our parents will be circulated on social media.

It is reported that Sabreen described Hala Shiha's position and her disavowal of art as suspicious and strange, stressing that she understands that some stars are subjected to psychological disturbance that pushes them to retire and wear the hijab, and that she herself was subjected to the same pressures previously, and also rejected Hala's position from her father and said that he revealed the existence of a "wrong need" in the life of Retired star.

It is noteworthy that Hala Shiha caused an uproar after her participation in Tamer Hosni, starring in his latest film (Not Me), she disappeared completely, and then announced her marriage to Moez Masoud in February 2021, and she returned to wear the hijab again.

Over the past year, she also entered into a dispute that sparked a lot of controversy with her father, plastic artist Ahmed Shiha, about her return to the hijab.
