Jared Leto is the type to immerse himself body and soul in his characters, not hesitating to stay in his role even between takes.

And the actor was no exception to this rule during the filming of

Morbius

.

In Marvel's latest blockbuster, he stars as Michael Morbius, a doctor with a rare blood disease that weakens him and makes it difficult for him to move.

As a result, it took a long time for the actor to relieve himself between two takes!

Director Daniel Espinosa then had to find a compromise to speed up the movement while respecting the star's method: he offered to go to the bathroom… in a wheelchair!

Make the difference

“All actors believe in a way of doing things.

And you, as a director, go along with whatever can make the actor be as good as possible,” Daniel Espinosa explained to Uproxx.

And in the eyes of the filmmaker, Jared Leto's investment has paid off.

It was therefore his duty to support him in his approach.

“If you want a completely normal person who only does things you understand, then you're in the wrong business.

Because what is different is precisely what makes them vibrate,” he added.
