Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 9th that it was confirmed that 2734 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It has exceeded the same day of the previous week for 16 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 909 in Fukuoka City, 501 in Kitakyushu City, and 199 in Kurume City.
Meanwhile, one person announced as infected on the 6th of this month was withdrawn.
A total of 323,551 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
