Who planned the dating app scam?

On the 9th, SBS 'I want to know' (hereafter 'Gal'), with the subtitle 'Secret Temptation of a Decoy', lit up the dating app fraud case.

A man with a perfect appearance, wealth, and nickname met women through a dating app.

And he was dating a lot of women, and now he has entrusted a large amount of money.

However, he could not meet even after the promised day.

Accordingly, the production team found the social media of the man the women had been in contact with, and met the main character in the photo.

However, the main character of the photo claimed that he had never done anything like that to women, and insisted on stealing his photos.

And there were other victims of this theft.

Also, the women who were in contact with the gold spoon took money from him and suffered financial damage on the contrary.

The golden spoon was an inducement to win the hearts of women with their warm appearance and to deposit money.

He chatted with women through a mobile messenger and asked to exchange cash on a site.

Delivering the site address to women who are willing to help, and being caught in the trap as soon as they access the site.

The man handed over the charged points first and asked for money exchange, but the moment a woman entered the site, it became a problem for the site and the victim, and suffered damages from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of won.

And the site's agent pushed and pressured the victim.

As a result, women only have distrust of the site instead of doubts about the gold spoon.

An expert analyzed this, saying, "Decoys and scammers control everything, but they are making the victims mistakenly make choices and decisions. So they do not even realize that they are being harmed."

The producers directly accessed the dating app to find the bait.

And the producers were able to easily talk to the baits.

And the decoy men naturally asked for help and delivered the address of the site in question, just like they did to the victims.

In response, the producers tried to talk to the bait guy.

And when I revealed that it was the Al-Tim, I unilaterally hung up the phone.

Next, the production team confirmed that most of the information related to the site was forged.

The identity of the counselor who pressured the victims was also fabricated.

And the personal information used by the counselor was also the victim.

In addition, the accounts the victims were depositing into were also stolen.

The victim of account theft was completely unaware of the fact that there were a whopping 170 million won in transactions in their account for 5 days.

The victim once passed on account information to a loan counselor he knew for a mobile loan, which was used in the crime.

The victim of account theft learned of this fact late and urgently requested the bank to suspend the transaction now.

When the transaction in the account was suspended, the loan counselor contacted the victim and was rather angry and shocked.

And it turns out that there are many such victims.

In particular, the stolen account was being used for various fraudulent transactions such as currency exchange fraud as well as second-hand transaction fraud.

Therefore, experts analyzed that their fraud was systematic.

And analysis of dating apps and the sites used for scams revealed what appeared to be mostly one organization.

In the email address of the domain purchaser information, an address opened by a famous Chinese anonymous site was detected, which was found to be mainly used by adult sites and illegal gambling sites.

However, it is regrettable that the institutional mechanism to be protected from such damage was found to be too insufficient.

He tried to stop the payment of the bankbook he traded with after learning about the fraud damage, but even this was not easy.

The act of disguising the supply of goods or services cannot be stopped, but the cyber money of the site used for currency exchange fraud was recognized as a good and was not protected by the law.

In response, the broadcaster regretted the fact that the system or investigation could not keep up with the evolution of fraudulent crimes, and raised his voice saying, "It is not the time to tell the victims not to be deceived, but to properly investigate and punish criminals and not to deceive them."
