On April 8, the reporter saw in the green plum orchard of Zimei Villa, Hongxing Township, Zhao'an County, that the branches were covered with red and green fruits, densely packed, bending the branches.
The green plums are round and plump, and the fresh fruit is sweet and sour.
It is understood that this year, Zhao'an County advocates picking plums by hand instead of using bamboo poles to beat and harvest plums in order to improve the quality of green plums.
The relevant person in charge of the county said that by hand-picking fresh fruits to improve the fruit quality rate, the county can produce 80,000 tons of green plums this year, and the output value of the green plum industry can increase by nearly 600 million yuan.
In addition, local fruit farmers are also exploring mechanical picking and transportation, which can transport boxes of fresh green plums picked by self-propelled rail cars down the mountain, which is very efficient and convenient.
