Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine from 2014 to 2019, called on all the country's international partners to "come back to Ukraine", to places where atrocities have been committed such as in Boutcha, to "begin to embody a symbol of solidarity with Ukraine".

We must "punish our barbarians. The sanctions must be firmer, harsher," he said. 

The current member of the Rada also thanked the American senators for having voted in favor of a decree facilitating arms sales to Ukraine, and asked France to follow its example.
