The twelve candidates in the first round of the French presidential election end their campaign this Friday, while abstention, which tends to progress regularly in France, should remain very high.

According to the polls, abstention could be strongest among left-wing supporters, starting with those of the PS.

Voters close to LaREM are, for their part, the safest to go to the polls.

Moreover, abstention would affect more young people and the inhabitants of the most modest homes.
