It is both the most misunderstood and the most important industry in our modern economy.

That of microchips.

These components, smaller than the size of a fingernail, are the basis of any electronic product.

And a country produces half of these components, it is Taiwan, a country of 23 million inhabitants claimed by China.

With the shortage of electronic chips, the major powers are now working to develop their own industries and compete with Taiwan.

But, the archipelago does not intend to let it go.
