Seine-Saint-Denis is preparing to overhaul in depth the support mechanisms towards employment for its 101,000 recipients of active solidarity income (RSA).

The department will indeed be able to take advantage of the partial renationalization of the RSA allowing the community to save 40 to 50 million euros per year, explains

Doubled means

Thus, the resources devoted to integration will double in two years, from 23 to 46 million euros.

According to Mélissa Youssouf, vice-president of the Department responsible for integration, this will make it possible to double the number of training places in five years, increasing them from 6,350 to 12,700, particularly in the sectors of construction, security and care.

The number of RSA referents in Seine-Saint-Denis will also double (340 instead of 170) for more intensive monitoring of beneficiaries.

Finally, local agencies dedicated to integration will be open next fall.

They will allow recipients to develop their project while benefiting from personalized aid.
