Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 370 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 31,372 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Shimonoseki City also announced that a woman in her 90s who had been infected with the new corona died on the 6th.
The death toll of infected people in the prefecture has reached 167.
