The elected officials and the LR mayor of the city of Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) Jacques JP Martin announced during the municipal council on Tuesday the upcoming launch of a petition.

It concerns the management of the Bois de Vincennes by the City of Paris, reveals

The municipality has been deploring the lack of consultation on the work carried out in the woods by the capital for several weeks now.

The mayor also sent an open letter to Anne Hidalgo in March.

The document remained unanswered.

A pruning without warning carried out by Paris employees in February had been singled out.

“A shared vision of the Bois de Vincennes”

In total, the site extends over seven municipalities whose elected officials are calling for “a shared vision of the Bois de Vincennes”.

Common ground had already been found previously, in particular with the former mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë.

A protocol concerning the evolution of wood had indeed been signed.
