According to NHK's summary, the number of infected people announced in Kanagawa Prefecture is now 628,258, of which 2060 have died.
The prefecture continues to call for thorough basic infection control measures.
The number of infected people does not include those who are undergoing voluntary medical treatment that does not fall under the Infectious Diseases Control Law.
