Indecent pictures among Kuwaiti students..Kuwait University opens an investigation into a major crime

Kuwait University has opened an investigation with an academic staff member at the College of Medicine for showing students "obscene" materials while explaining a lecture.

The university said in a statement posted on its official Twitter account: "The Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research directed the Kuwait University administration to form an investigation committee under Law No. 76 of 2019".

The Acting Rector of the University, Bader Al-Badawi, confirmed that all measures were taken by the investigation committee and that those found guilty were referred to a disciplinary council, after rumors spread that a faculty member, a doctor of psychology, had exposed pornographic materials to his students, which sparked widespread controversy and criticism that reached the parliament, where he asked Parliamentarian Fayez Al-Jumhur asked the Minister of Education about the matter, according to what was reported by Al-Ain News.

Kuwait University added in its statement, saying that the directive includes "that the committee submits its report as soon as possible to the minister about the fact that a doctor in the College of Medicine presented videos that violate public morals to students while explaining the lecture."
