Gifu Prefecture and others announced on the 7th that 646 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed.
The number of confirmed infections per day has exceeded the same day of the previous week for eight consecutive days.
A total of 71,696 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
