Akita Prefecture and Akita City announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 346 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of announcements for the day exceeded 300 for the third consecutive day, the second highest ever after the record high of 389 on the 5th.
A total of 18,316 people have been confirmed infected in Akita Prefecture.
