In the early morning of April 4, during the patrol of the Yangtze River Patrol Team in Yibin, Sichuan, they rescued a national first-class protected animal, the Yangtze River sturgeon, which weighed more than 10 kilograms, at the confluence of the Cuojiang River and the Yangtze River on Binjiang Road.

After measurement, the total length of this Yangtze sturgeon is 1.4 meters, the body length is 1.2 meters, the weight is 10.5 kg, and there is no obvious trauma on the body surface.

It is understood that this is the first time that an adult Yangtze sturgeon has been rescued in Jiang'an, and it is a Yangtze sturgeon that has been artificially valued and released by implanting a chip.
