  At 7:50 on April 6, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in Xingwen County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province (28.22 degrees north latitude, 105.03 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located in Xianfeng Miao Township, Xingwen County, Yibin City.

  After the earthquake, the Sichuan Provincial Emergency Department immediately launched an emergency response, dispatching video dispatches to the Yibin Emergency Bureau and the Provincial Fire Rescue Corps.

The Yibin Mine Rescue Team with 20 people in 2 vehicles and the fire rescue team with 33 people in 5 vehicles rushed to the epicenter. At the same time, 34 vehicles and 151 people from the Sichuan Forest Fire Brigade were dispatched to move towards Yibin.

  It is understood that the transportation department has conducted segment inspections, video inspections, etc., on five expressways including G93 Luyu Expressway, S41 Yixu Expressway, G76 Naqian Expressway, G93 Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway Leyi Section, and S4 Chengyizhao Expressway Yibin Section. Emergency inspections were carried out, and no obvious abnormalities were found. All toll stations were passing normally, and no disaster report was received.

  In addition, Sichuan has also mobilized more than 500 fire rescue teams in Chengdu, Luzhou, Zigong, Leshan, Neijiang, Ziyang and other places to assemble and stand by, ready to be dispatched at any time.
