From the ruins of Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, 45 ornaments called "Komochi Magatama" have been excavated, which is the largest number in Japan, and are open to the public.

"Komochi Magatama" was used as a decorative item with small protrusions around the jade, and about 450 pieces were found nationwide.

At the Kita-Otake site, which is believed to be from the Kofun period in Gyoda City, an archaeological survey was conducted by the Saitama Prefectural Buried Cultural Property Research Corporation for three years, and 45 new items were excavated.

Visitors looked unusual along with other excavated items on display.

A woman in her 50s who visited the venue said, "I think it's amazing to find so many magatama in Saitama. I can't see them easily, so I want many people to see them."

Hiroaki Tanaka, director of the Saitama Prefectural Buried Cultural Property Research Corporation, said, "It is thought that many big festivals were held in this area for several years, and it is a valuable discovery that it seems that there was a big family who united the area. I was talking.
