On April 6, the staff of the Laohegou Nature Conservation Center in Pingwu County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province were sorting out the infrared camera data placed in the wild and found that an infrared camera at the Yaoshangou point repeatedly photographed giant pandas urinating upside down, Tagged precious videos.

The video shows that on January 1 this year, an adult male giant panda was photographed on the ground with his front legs and his hind legs on a tree, performing a "difficult" upside-down peeing action, as if to show his kung fu.

In the following two months, videos and photos of giant pandas sniffing and marking the tree were also photographed many times at the site.

According to the staff of the Laohegou Nature Conservation Center, it is not "uncommon" for male giant pandas to urinate upside down. It is to make themselves urinate higher to show their height and strength, and the more they urinate. Higher is stronger.

Giant pandas obtain information through urine. For male pandas, it can mark the territory and attract female pandas to come and mate.
