Netflix will set up its cameras in Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine) this summer.

The American streaming giant is indeed preparing to shoot a fiction that will take place during the Second World War.

It is not yet known who will be starring in the film and what the story will be.

But the vast majority of the scenes should be shot in the corsair city between the end and the beginning of July.

For filming purposes, the production team is looking for men or women living in Saint-Malo or neighboring towns to recreate scenes from life in the Second World War.

The extras will play townspeople (18 to 75 years old) or German soldiers (18 to 30 years old).

“No experience of figuration required”, specifies the announcement which has just been put online on the Cast Prod site.
