Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 767 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that one person had died.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture was 61,440, and the total number of people who died was 176.
