China News Service, April 6. According to Hong Kong's Sing Tao Daily, in recent years, online dating investment scams have been on the rise in Hong Kong, which has soared three and a half times to 642 cases last year, and the loss amounted to 360 million yuan (Hong Kong dollars).

In order to prevent the victims from losing their money, the Hong Kong police recently released the "four parts" of the dialogue between online dating investment scammers and victims through social platforms.

  The police issued a document pointing out that online dating investment scams mainly use sweet words to deceive trust:

  In the first step, the liar will deceive the victim's trust and feelings with sweet words, including "you are the first boy I added", "good luck", etc.;

  In the second step, the scammer will take the victim into an investment scam, including asking "the digital currency node at night is not bad, can someone take you with me", and "the next time there is a stable node, you can also follow me a little bit. Try to be scared, we can also have more topics and more income", etc.;

  In the third step, the scammer will ask the victim to download a fake program, and attract the victim with a low threshold and "it's not enough to make money by working hard", during which the victim will first make money and taste the "sweetness";

  The fourth step, when the first money is received, the scammer will use another excuse to defraud the money and ask the victim to put more money on the platform.

  In the end, when the victim wanted to get back the money on the platform, the platform withheld the money and asked for a security deposit, etc., but the victim was still unable to get back a penny.

When the victim found out that he had been deceived and confronted the swindler, the other party pointed out, "You still hurt me by saying such things until now. If I can't get back the funds I made up for you, don't blame me for hating it."

  The Hong Kong police hope that the public can learn from this.
