This is the number 1 concern of the French and therefore the first campaign theme of the presidential candidates: four days before the first round, the question of purchasing power is at the heart of all attention.

However, purchasing power has increased during Emmanuel Macron's mandate (+300 euros per year, according to the OFCE), but inflation and repeated crises have hit hard on the wallets of the French.
