An organization in Kawasaki City that supports children who do not attend school has created a document format that facilitates communication between parents and the school and publishes it on the Internet.

According to the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education, the number of children who are not attending school at public elementary and junior high schools in the prefecture was 14,267 in the second year of Reiwa, the highest number since 1991.



In March, a group supporting children who did not attend school in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City conducted a survey of parents of school refusal children nationwide. It turns out that there are many.



Therefore, in order to reduce the psychological burden on parents, the group created a document format that can be submitted to the school as it is by writing necessary information such as attendance of children and delivery method of handouts, with the advice of active teachers, on the Internet. It is open to the public.
