Great premiere for Harrison Ford: the cinema legend arrives in a new series… on a recurring basis!
If he had already made several appearances on television, before the success of
Star Wars
, then in
The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones
, he had never been more than a "guest star".
Shrinking
will therefore be from his first real series, and as its name suggests for the most English-speaking, it will focus on a psychiatrist, played by Jason Segel (
How I Met Your Mother
), who, tired of his ethics and principles, decides overnight to say what he really thinks to his patients.
Harrison Ford, for his part, will play the role of the mentor of Jason Segel, an independent and acerbic psychiatrist affected by Parkinson's disease.
He must then "get out of his comfort zone to confront his loved ones and his family", according to Deadline.

For the moment, nothing has been specified on the number of seasons of the series, but Apple TV +, which ordered the program, has already announced the filming of 10 episodes.
No release date has been communicated.
Harrison Ford, for his part, finished the next
Indiana Jones
, directed by James Mangold, in February.
The fifth installment of the adventures of the archaeologist is due out on June 30, 2023 and the actor has announced that this will be the last time he wears the whip and the hat.
