The Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai participated in supporting the “Yak Al Aoun” initiative with an amount of one million dirhams, bringing the total donations so far to 2.5 million dirhams, including 13 citizens who were prosecuted and targeted in the initiative.

It is noteworthy that the "Yak Al Aoun" initiative has been adopted by Emirates Today, Dubai Courts, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, for the second year in a row, with the aim of releasing prisoners from financially troubled citizens who are being prosecuted.

The Secretary-General of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai, Ali Al-Mutawa, praised the "Yak Help" initiative, which was launched by "Emirates Today", in cooperation with Dubai Courts and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to contribute to the release of insolvent prisoners of citizens and extend a helping hand to them. He pointed out that the total donations so far since the launch of the initiative amounted to 2.5 million dirhams, to include 13 citizens who were prosecuted among those included in the "Yak Al Aoun" initiative.

Al-Riyami called on government and private institutions to provide the necessary support for the national community initiative.
