To support the Ramadan Red Crescent campaign, Al Habtoor serves 30,000 iftar meals for fasting people during Ramadan

The founder and Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, announced that 30,000 meals will be provided to those fasting in Ramadan, at a rate of 1,000 meals per day, to support the UAE Red Crescent’s Ramadan campaign inside the country.

The authority is responsible for supervising the distribution of meals to fasting people in densely populated areas, labor complexes, and needy families.

Al Habtoor expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Emirates Red Crescent Authority for its distinguished humanitarian role inside and outside the country. He said that the authority has remained a source of pride and esteem for all the people of the country thanks to its development initiatives and distinguished efforts in various fields, stressing every time that it is up to the challenge and responsibility placed upon it for this. Our duty is to support its programs and projects.

"For my part, I will continue to cooperate with our national authority to help the needy and indigent anywhere, without considering any inhumane considerations, whether racial, religious or sectarian," he added.

For his part, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Red Crescent for Local Affairs welcomed the initiative of philanthropist Khalaf Al Habtoor Salem Al Rayes Al Ameri.. He said that it enriches the fields of humanitarian and charitable work, and enhances the role of the Red Crescent in carrying out its duty and responsibilities in its local arena.

"This initiative is a strong support for the Red Crescent's Ramadan campaign, which this year is witnessing a major expansion within the country," he added.

Al-Amiri praised Al Habtoor’s response and permanent support for the Red Crescent’s programs and projects, stressing that his charitable and humanitarian initiatives have not been interrupted and continued through the authority, and they undoubtedly enhance areas of solidarity and compassion among members of society.
