The situation of the fifth wave of COVID-19 in Hong Kong is still severe.

On April 2, the Hong Kong SAR government distributed free epidemic prevention service kits to nearly 3 million households in Hong Kong, encouraging Hong Kong citizens to carry out rapid self-testing of the new crown virus from April 8 to 10.

In the past few days, officials of the Hong Kong SAR government, members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, members of various districts and people from all walks of life have actively responded to the distribution action.

On April 3, a reporter from China News Agency, Huang Jinxing, Director of the Environment Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, and Guo Furong, a member of Kwai Tsing District, distributed "epidemic prevention service packs" to subdivided tenants in Kwai Tsing District to help Hong Kong get out of the "epidemic" situation.
